I work at the intersection of arts and mental health.
Often embedding mind-body practice into the creative process,
I create and develop new theater and multi-media performance through Maelstrom Collaborative Arts
and through the 2018-19 Joan Yellen Horvitz directing fellowship at Cleveland Public Theatre.
Read about this fellowship HERE in American Theatre Magazine.
I also currently lead a daily yoga & mindfulness practice for adults with severe eating disorders at The Emily Program's residential treatment center.
This trauma-informed work in Cleveland, OH encompasses practices learned through
my 200 hour yoga teacher training and 300 hour Skill in Action yoga training (in progress, to be completed in May, 2021).
My work with these clients also incorporates other somatic / mind-body practices shared with me
by artists, community members, and the innate wisdom of these clients themselves.
